Help Yourself and Help Others
The teachings of Lord Buddha talk about the
merits gained from helping others and doing good
deeds. Donating time and money to the
construction of Nisala Arana gives us all the
opportunity of gaining merits.
Nisala Arana is still under construction. If you
would like to help in any way, from donating
money towards the construction of Kutties, to
giving your time to help with work at the
centre, please contact us.

THERE’S MORE TO LIFE
Modern living is fast-paced and enticing but we
will never find the inner peace through the
latest gadget or accessory. Buddhist meditation
focuses on giving up our attachments to these
everyday comforts and conveniences. Through
giving up the things we are attached to and
correcting our negative behaviour, we can
achieve a higher level of consciousness and a
greater understanding of the meaning of life.
Meditation, and following the Dhamma allows us
to look beyond ourselves to a greater existence.
